Katdryn`s Bar and Grill in Pickering

Went here today with my son. He ordered garlic bread with cheese. It was $9 and they served me a hotdog bun with cheese.

Local pickering restaurant known for their breakfasts. A bit over priced for breakfast.

Love their breakfast and lunch! A good little hidden gem and did not realize how busy this place gets especially in the weekend. Great portions and friendly staff. My family goes for breakfast often and occasionally for lunch. Their fish and chips is one of the best I've tried!

Went there for dinner , not only was service slow , both of our orders were screwed up. Nothing was done to correct it , no sorry we made a mistake and the waitress pretty much ignore us after bring out the wrong food.Its really too bad as we have been going here for over 15 years...…….new staff ,bad service...……………...

We've been coming here for many years. The wait staff always take good care of us. Its pretty much at the point the waitresses know our orders off by heart. The quality of the food is good and I love the fact they don't charge extra for my half potatoes/half tomato. I'll recommend this place to anyone for a good hearty breakfast

Nice clean restaurant, came in for brunch. i was pleasantly surprised with everything. The service was prompt and really enjoyed the eggs breakfast. I will be coming back again.

I come here a few times a month. Service is always good. Prices are good. They accommodate shared plates.Great value.Note. I have only ever eaten breakfast or lunch here. Cannot speak to what it is like for dinner. I have seen groups of twenty plus people for breakfast but I bet you would have to make a reservation for that.Lots of free parking.

We had the fish and chips which were so greasy. The fish was small and tasteless. Never again.

Hit and miss. Most times the food is good but many times have experienced the food coming to the table cold or burnt. Service is poor. Most servers seem unimpressed to be at work and grumpy. Some servers do not know the menu well and have messed up multiple food and drink orders, leaving the table waiting until the end of the meal for something we asked for when we sat down. Mediocre breakfast at best

The food service was fast and the hospitality was impeccable.. the food was cooked with perfection ... the Rainbow trout made my day.. Even my dearest friend jumped in than the usual feast for Instagram..

Great place for breakfast which is why we went there on a recommendation. We had bacon, sausage and eggs with pancakes. Rebecca served us and she was very friendly and polite. Will definitely be back!

Great service, food and value

Not very good. I asked for grilled onions with my food and they served me raw onions. Toast was cold and butter wouldn't melt.

Sad so that the best part of my fish and coleslaw was the batter on the shameful piece of halibut. It was so thin if the batter was any lighter it would have floated off the plate. Coleslaw was a bit on the vinigery side and any descent fish and chip shop makes their own tartar sauce.

This place used to be great. After the renovations(which are great), the prices started to soar. Then the portions and quality started to drop.

I've only been here for breakfast but I've been a couple dozen times. It's always good.

Each breakfast order was enjoyed - hot and fresh! The two servers were busy but attentive and kind. Great experience!

Wouldn't recommend for dinner. The soup was from the can and the vegetables were frozen. The salmon which I ordered was well cooked though. I hear the breakfast and lunch is better.

I’ve been many times for a Sunday brunch with friends over the last two years and although the food is standard for a breakfast genre, I’ve noticed that the service has been inattentive and slightly rude during service the last several visits. It’s a shame that when you are getting together with friend for a happy brunch and catch up that the server makes your feel rushed, mistakes are made and you end up leaving feeling like it’s not worth coming back. Would suggest some staff retraining or incentives to better promoters during a visit. But will go again to give them another chance, as it’s a family run restaurant and a longstanding establishment in the community.

We eat here with our kids alot. The breakfast is fantastic, service is always friendly and they are currently open for take out during COVID.

Best grill bar in town

The food was good, but the service was horrible. The waitress was rude, aggressive and impatient, which made for a very unpleasant experience. They need to hire more staff because she was clearly overworked.
